Card issuers are really pushing the use of their respective checkout tools. American Express recently ran a $10 bonus per card if you used Amex Checkout. Now Chase is getting into the game to promote Visa Checkout with the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card. This is a simple process, and it can be profitable if you know the loophole!
The list of stores currently accepting Visa Checkout is not very extensive. If you already have plans to make a purchase from one of the stores below, feel free to do so, and enjoy your $15 cash back. If not, there is a way that you can likely earn a profit. (This worked for Amex Checkout, but is unconfirmed for this promo.)
Newegg.com is one of the merchants accepting Visa Checkout. They sell electronics and digital download products. These are electronically delivered (free shipping), and some sell for as little as $0.49. For example, you can buy this Max Payne 3 digital download for $0.49, and it will likely trigger a $15 statement credit, earning you a $14.51 profit on the purchase! I bought one with my CSP and my wife’s CSP. According to the fine print, statement credits may take 1-2 statement cycles to post, so now we wait. Cheers!
