Most of the “free money” deals on Amazon apply only to items shipped and sold by Amazon. Fortunately, Amazon ships and sells a TON of stuff, but sometimes these specific items can be difficult to identify. I will teach you how we find these products and take advantage of the promotions to get free stuff. We compiled a list of 20 travel gifts under $20, using these techniques. Follow along…
As an example, I will show you how to find this awesome Magnetic Cell Phone Car Mount, which is shipped and sold by Amazon.
Step 1: Search For the Item You Want
Go to Amazon (link opens new tab, so you can follow along), and find the search bar. Type in “Magnetic Cell Phone Car Mount” and hit enter.
Step 2: Select a Department
At the top, left-hand side of the page, you should see a list of departments. Usually, the top-level department will be the one you want. Go ahead and click on it. We will select “Cell Phones & Accessories.”
Step 3: Select a Seller
Scroll all the way down the left side of the page, until you see a category labeled “Seller.” If Amazon.com appears on the list, simply select it. If not, click on “+See more,” to reveal all of the sellers of your item. Amazon.com should appear on this list, so go ahead and select it.
**If Amazon does not appear on this list, return to Step 2 and select another department. Unfortunately, Amazon does not sell everything, so your search may ultimately come up empty.**
Step 4: Verify the Item is Shipped and Sold by Amazon
At this point, you should be viewing a list of items which are all shipped and sold by Amazon! Go ahead and pick whichever one you desire. Our specific car mount should appear on this page, so find it and click the link.
While viewing the product page, you should see the words “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com” just under the in-stock and shipping information. If you see these words, you are all set! Add the item to your cart, and you should be eligible for your selected promo!
Final Thoughts
This is a great tactic to get free or discounted stuff from various Amazon promotions. Hopefully, you’re able to take advantage of these deals as they come available. Now you will be able to easily identify products to save big money! Cheers!
