Chase is at it again with another HUGE offer of 100,000 Ultimate Rewards Points! No, I’m not talking about the Sapphire Reserve Card. This new offer is appearing in targeted mailers for the Chase Ink Plus card, as reported on Reddit. This is the best offer I’ve seen for the Ink Plus card by a whopping 30,000 points! If you aren’t one of the lucky people who get the targeted offer, you may still be able to benefit.
In our experience with Chase, they have been quite generous with offer matches. For example, a targeted offer of 70,000 points came out earlier this year for the Ink Plus. My wife had previously applied for the 60,000-point offer, but she was able to get an extra 10,000 points by sending a secure message to Chase.
If you already have the Ink Plus card, I recommend saving the image from this post and attaching it to a secure message. In that message, reference the new offer and politely request that they match it. I have no idea if they are willing to match this offer, but the worst they can say is “no.” Most people report success on offer matches within 90 days of their original application.
EDIT
I sent secure messages to Chase on both of our accounts, and I got the exact same response for both:
Thank you for contacting Chase about the enrollment bonus offer.
We don’t have a similar offer available for your account right now, and we can’t match the one you requested. We know this is not the answer you hoped for, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Our credit card offers vary and change, and new ones become available on a regular basis. We hope you’ll continue to check with us for available offers that apply to your account. We appreciate your loyalty.
Jesse, I appreciate your understanding and co-operation in this regard. We look forward to provide you excellent customer service that you deserve.
Thank you.
Other data points are similar; however, if you can prove that you were targeted, they will match the higher bonus. You will need to provide the code from the mailer that is tied to your account for a bonus match. If you’re not targeted, I still recommend trying to get a match… Again, “no” is the worst thing they can say
Good luck on applications and match requests! Please report your data points in the comments below. Cheers!
