EDIT: It appears that Chase shut down the fax line for applications. For the best available offers, visit our Top Offers Page.
Many of you are familiar with the Chase Sapphire Reserve, its 100,000 Ultimate Reward point bonus, and its plethora of benefits. However, you likely have not heard of the other Chase “Reserve” card – the JP Morgan Reserve Card. This card carries the same benefits as the Sapphire Reserve, including the 100,000 UR point bonus and $300 annual travel credit! Best of all, it does not appear to be following the 5/24 restriction… yet!
How to Apply for the 100k Offer
Chase accepts new card applications via fax only. You can access the PDF here, print it, and fax it to 1-877-576-2828. If you don’t have a fax machine… because it’s not 1982 anymore… you can download a handy app for your smart phone to send the fax. There are tons of fax apps, just do a simple search.
There is no known way to check on the status of your JP Morgan Reserve application at this point. The Chase application status line does not cover this card. You will need to log in to your Chase account online to check for a new card. If you see it, you have been approved! If you are declined, you should receive a letter in the mail indicating the reason for denial.
Reports are coming in that people well beyond the 5/24 cut-off are getting approval. Also, the rumor that you must have $10 million in the bank with Chase for approval appears to be false. If you are able to snag this card and you got the Sapphire Reserve, CONGRATULATIONS!! You will have 200,000 Chase UR points at your disposal! Good luck out there.
