We have covered the Barclay Arrival Plus card a few times. The standard offer for this card has been 40,000 Arrival+ miles for as long as I can remember. This past week, Barclays decided to increase the offer to 50,000 miles!

Arrival+ miles can be redeemed to pay yourself back for travel expenses. Simply charge a purchase to the card, and then use the miles in your account to reimburse yourself. For example, if you book a $300 AirBNB, you can redeem 30,000 miles to pay yourself back (1-cent per point). In addition, you will get a 5% rebate on the miles you redeem. (See this post for the ideal redemption math).
If already have the card, many data points suggest that you can get it a second or third time. You will need to cancel or product change your card to a non-Arrival product, like the Barclay Rewards card. (Their system sees the Arrival Plus and the regular Arrival as the same product.) I’ve read about people successfully re-applying after one week, while some people claim you must wait at least six months. Please report back with your results.
I’m not sure how long this offer will be around, so I recommend jumping on it. You can apply using this link. The Arrival Plus is one of the most flexible travel cards around, because you can redeem the miles against any travel expense over $100. Cheers!
