American Express just announced new offers on their Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) Personal and Business cards! Both offers are for 35,000 SPG Points!! This matches the HIGHEST OFFER EVER for these cards. These limited time bonuses will expire on April 5, 2017, so act fast, before they disappear!
The Offers
The offers for the two SPG cards are as follows:
American Express SPG Personal Card – Earn 25,000 Points when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months and an additional 10,000 Points when you spend $2,000 in the first six months
American Express SPG Business Card – Earn 25,000 Points when you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months and an additional 10,000 Points when you spend $3,000 in the first six months.
Both cards have a $95 annual fee that is waived during the first year.
Our Analysis
These offers are fantastic! The usual offers of 25,000 are embedded in the new offers, and you get the added option to spend a bit more for an extra 10,000 points. SPG points are very valuable, as one of the most widely transferrable points in the game. They can be transferred to 20+ airlines (20,000 points = 25,000 airline miles) or to Marriott at a 1:3 ratio. You can also use them to stay at fantastic SPG hotels and resorts worldwide, like the Sheraton Maldives or the Swan/Dolphin Walt Disney World!
Unfortunately, these bonuses are NOT available if you have gotten this card in the past. They are only open to new card members. If you’ve never gotten these cards, now is the time. The bonus offers have never been higher! Cheers!
